GRIPFAST® DDA Compliant Stair Treads, Nosings have been
designed to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 1995.
The regulations state that all nosings on stairs need to be '…made
apparent by means of a permanently contrasting material 55mm wide on both the
tread and the riser.'
GRIPFAST® DDA Compliant Nosings are
manufactured by combining a durable aluminium base with a colour constant
infill strip on the tread and the riser. The infill strip on the tread usually
incorporates an anti slip finish to eliminate slip hazards. The infill strip on
the riser can be left smooth for ease of cleaning.

Product thickness:
• 4mm aluminium base with 2mm infill strip.
Product grades:
• Smooth, Barefoot, Pedestrian, Industrial and
Heavy Industrial.
Colours:
• Standard: black, yellow, grey,
red, blue, green and brown.
• Specific BS and RAL colours available on
application.
Note: the regulations state that all step nosings should
be
 '…made distinguishable through contrasting
brightness.'.

length of 2440mm
